  • Work with the Kern Economic Development Corporation and other organizations to promote the labor force in Kern County. 

  • Align our services to serve targeted business clusters, and assigned staff to handle the hiring needs of those specific industries

  • Participate in marketing presentations with other outside companies seeking to promote Kern County as a relocation site for their businesses, thus bringing more jobs to our area

  • Assign agency representatives to serve as liaisons to other local business organizations and chambers to promote a healthy business climate

  • Revise and adjust services to meet the needs identified by our ever-changing economy
