Overview
ETR contracts with authorized training providers to provide customer-focused employment training for dislocated workers and other adults. Training providers may offer a variety of training options, including classroom, correspondence, Internet, broadcast, and apprenticeship programs. These provider contracts are coordinated through the State's Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and the area's local WDB (Workforce Development Board).

Becoming a training provider in Kern, Inyo, and Mono Counties is a 2-step process.
Step 1: Get on the California State Eligible Training Provider (ETPL) list
Step 2: When RFPs are opened by Kern/Inyo/Mono County for training provider services, send in a proposal; details on this process will be posted on this site whenever these open.
